Dabur Tuvarak Tail

Tuvarak is common name of tree Hydnocarpus kurzii, belonging to family Flacourtiaceae. This tree is native to India, Myanmar and Thailand. In India this tree is mainly found in Assam and Tripura.

In Ayurveda, Chaulmoogra Oil is used for treating leprosy and other skin diseases from time immemorial. The oil is used both internally and externally. This oil was introduced into Western medicine by English doctor Frederic John Mouat in 1854. Mouat acquainted with this oil while he was a professor of medicine at the Bengal Medical College. He tested this oil on leprosy patients and found good results. He dressed the external ulcers of the patients with the oil. Internally, he gave a pill prepared by beating the seeds into a pulp. He reported that the ulcers healed and the patients improved.

Tuvarak पेड़ का सामान्य नाम है Hydnocarpus kurzii, परिवार Flacourtiaceae से संबंधित है। यह पेड़ भारत, म्यांमार और थाईलैंड के मूल निवासी है। भारत में यह पेड़ मुख्य रूप से असम और त्रिपुरा में पाया जाता है।

आयुर्वेद में, चुल्लोमोगरा तेल का उपयोग कुष्ठ रोग और अन्य त्वचा रोगों के लिए समय से किया जाता है। तेल का उपयोग आंतरिक और बाह्य दोनों प्रकार से किया जाता है। इस दवा को 1854 में अंग्रेजी डॉक्टर फ्रेडरिक जॉन माउट द्वारा पश्चिमी चिकित्सा में पेश किया गया था। मौआत इस तेल से परिचित थे, जबकि वे बंगाल मेडिकल कॉलेज में चिकित्सा के प्रोफेसर थे। उन्होंने कुष्ठ रोगियों पर इस तेल का परीक्षण किया और अच्छे परिणाम पाए। उन्होंने तेल के साथ रोगियों के बाहरी अल्सर को तैयार किया। आंतरिक रूप से, उन्होंने एक गूदे में बीज को हराकर तैयार की गई गोली दी। उन्होंने बताया कि अल्सर ठीक हो गया और रोगियों में सुधार हुआ।

आयुर्वेद में, इसका उपयोग सैकड़ों वर्षों से त्वचा रोगों, टीबी, गाउट और कुष्ठ रोग के इलाज के लिए किया जाता है।
दाद / टिनिया कॉर्पोरिस (हिंदी में दाद)
वैसलीन (50 ग्राम) में चाउलोमोग्रा ऑयल (10 मिली) अच्छी तरह मिलाएं। इस मिश्रण को दाद पर लगाएं।
दाद के इलाज के लिए प्रभावित त्वचा के हिस्से पर मक्खन और मैशेज में चाउलोमोगरा तेल मिलाएं।
रक्त की विकृति

मक्खन के साथ चुल्लूमोगरा तेल की 5 बूंदों का मौखिक सेवन फायदेमंद है।
खुजली

तेल अरंडी के तेल के साथ मिलाया जाता है और बाहरी रूप से लगाया जाता है।

Chaulmoogra तेल बेहद परेशान और कड़वा है।
यह तेल इमेटिक और रेचक है।
तेल की 3-4 बूंदों के मौखिक सेवन से मतली और उल्टी हो सकती है।
खुराक पाचन सहिष्णुता पर निर्भर है।
भोजन के बाद ही तेल को मक्खन के साथ लेना चाहिए।
